The regular administrative staff are taking a vacation, and in the meantime, Biigoh is taking over. See here for more information.
A notice about Rule 3 regarding sites hosting pirated/unauthorized content has been made. Please see here for details.

Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
God speed and God bless, @LurkingInTheDeceit .

Again with the "spirit of plagiarism", huh?
Reposting* someone else fanfiction w/o permission is not welcomed because it's generally a dick move. Less so then actual plagiarism but still. There are extenuating circumstances and edge cases of preservation and such that make it kinda OK, but it's...
Nope, that's the thing. Despite sharing common logo-/ideographic script they all are linguistically distinct languages that are only called dialects 'cause The Party said so. National unity go br-r-r-r-r.
If anything the shared non-phonetics-based script halted the linguistical convergence in...
OK, after reading the announcement and the discussion (a mistake in hindsight), here's my opinion that no-one asked and no-one cares about but I'm gonna post it anyway:
This seems as excessive as slaaneshi cult.
Weren't there already a procedure in place to remove copyrighted shit if rightful...
I highly doubt it. There's no way something as general as "filter a particular type of specifically marked content in forum search" can be claimed as IP, and there is usually more than one way to implement a feature. Or edit a blatantly stolen code just enough to be legally distinctive.
All...
I've recently found out that I've missed on a couple of story updates because of similar issue.
Only even more erratic, quotes/replies are going just fine while OP threadmark alerts are coming in once in a blue moon.
As in: one OP threadmark alert, then none whatsoever for next few chapters, so...
