    Just coming back to this I forgot Nero gained his spectral arm power long before dying to Agnus and DTing. So I’d go further to say Yamato didn’t do anything to cause his Stand at all, it’s just a full body expression of his spectral limb power imo.

    I don’t believe Nero’s Stand relies on having Yamato, it may be the reason he gained it but even after losing Yamato in 5 he still has it. It comes out for the last hit of Showdown.
