Did you check this with the mods? They might be able to help you change the address for verifying the account, or something. From another direction I think this is technically against Rule 4?

On the subject of rule 4. Quote "This includes creating new accounts for the purpose of abandoning an old one." I've not abandoned the account, I've been unable to access it due to 3rd party technical reasons for more than two weeks.
