Star Wars, Warcraft, though that's more dependent on the author than general attraction. Star Wars has tattooine slave culture stuff and reimaginings of the prequel eras and before. Blue_Sunshine and stuff derived from there is awesome. Regardless, the big draw really is on the sort cosmic, altered world fantasy kind of stuff, different perceptions of reality.
