The regular administrative staff are taking a vacation, and in the meantime, Biigoh is taking over. See here for more information.
A notice about Rule 3 regarding sites hosting pirated/unauthorized content has been made. Please see here for details.
Staff is working to deal with the problem of synonymous tags. See here for more information and to suggest tag mergers.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
Pretty sure the ones that say possible are generally for quests, for establishing if such a thing would be allowed to happen by the author if the votes go that way but won't if they don't.
I mean nobody else on the staff side seemed to think it was necessary, so I don't think they'd go out of...
Xenforo Default, Use Default Style, Light, and Dark all don't show it and never have. Only Blackened and its variants (including Lightened) actually show the button.
They don't do it with any degree of accuracy actually. Most AI detectors will flag works written long before AI even existed as AI since that's what the AI is copying from. Any work written by a human with any sort actual writing background or professionally edited will fail those.
AI detectors...
Not how it works with threads. The ignore thread list is identical in function to the function of the tag exclusion system. It's not an anti-join system anymore in XF2, that's just the hacky way it got implemented in XF1.
Do not. Those are three very different canons, and AUs shouldn't be merged into the base tag. If you want to see all of them at once just do a title only search with the word Pokemon that'll also grab any story with a tag with Pokemon in it since tags are treated as an extension of the thread's...
Community suggestions have been explicitly stated to not be something that would even be considered. Only the author or, if the author breaks the rules, the mods have any say over a thread's tags.
Are you ignoring any threads written by that person? The show ignored content button will show up if there are any ignored threads in the "Similar threads" box at the bottom of the page.
Yeah, you probably don't want to hand off something like that to an algorithm. I've seen what both AI and dumb code each think are similar enough and they're very much not from a human perspective, especially given how many if said images are CYOA pages.
It would require going through and checking every image in the cache against every other image. You couldn't even just use the URLs since plenty of the boorus and other sites will reuse urls after something gets deleted. Extremely impractical at this point, 10+ years in, would probably have been...
It does convert the Xs to ones but you can't have multiple ones, which every post in your thread does since they have multiple Xs. Also the internal tally program is just an integrated version of NetTally.
