    Makes sense, I was going to make the same comment about missing something. Maybe though put in a sentence or two to make it clear they aren't doing this in the time bubble? Also, the time travel idea reminds me of the Forgotten Ruin series.

    I don't see an issue with it. It's quite possible he has a small field around him and everything he touches. Otherwise his clothes would keep him confined to where ever he stopped time. Or he has a transitive effect that's partially controlled. So he touches the gun, the gun touches the bullets...
